Digital Marketing Company Website

Scope of work:

  • Business Model
  • Technology Stack
  • Branding
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Information Architecture
  • Website Design
  • WordPress Website Development
  • Copywriting

Between September 2012 and August 2014 I built a digital marketing agency that offered small businesses a subscription alternative to typical online marketing services.

After working out the basics of the offer and pricing models, I carefully crafted an identity around the idea of all these services finally being synchronized. From that principle came the name Sync Digital Marketing.

When it came to creating the website, we wantedd to do two things:

  • Help the potential client understand the value proposition before learning about prices first
  • Offer the prices (a strong trust-building signal) once the client had read enough about the service

This kind of strategy for a sales funnel is instrumental for B2B businesses. Giving the price away before a good value proposition is in place can kill any hope of getting the client.

The flip side of that is that not offering the price usually discourages making contact in the first place.

How I solved that was by not including pricing in the navigation, but rather enticing the client to learn “What We Do”, and “How We Do It”. Once in those pages, the client would have the opportunity to learn about the costs.

Once on the pricing page, the client is presented with a clear, yet comprehensive pricing information. The layout and wording of these pricing lists is critical to good conversion.

Other features (not shown):

  • Pre-qualifying questions on the contact form.
  • Hidden sign-up pages (to be sent as links by account executives) feeding into CRM system.
  • Fully mobile-responsive
  • HTML 5
